MARIE GAGNON Join us to celebrate the life of a dear mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Marie Gagnon, who was loved for 85 years and left us peacefully on Saturday, December 11, 1999 at the Ste. Anne Hospital. Marie was born on March 16, 1914 at La Broquerie, Manitoba. On October 24, 1936 she married Nestor Gagnon and they resided in La Broquerie. Predeceased by her parents; her husband Nestor in 1997; one daughter Jeanne in 1980; two grandchildren, Patrick and Diane; two brothers, Adelard and Lucien; two sisters, Cecile and Germaine, she leaves to mourn her passing, two sons, Raymond (Yolande), Paul (Pearl) all of Winnipeg; two daughters, Helene (Arthur) Delorme of Marchand, Man., Madeleine (Rod) Montgomery of Winnipeg, Man.; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Should friends so desire memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301 - 352 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Funeral service will be held at the St. Joachim Roman Catholic Church, La Broquerie on Thursday, December 16 at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Father Leonce Aubin officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. The Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, 1-888-454-1030 in care of the arrangements.
