RENE LAMBERT It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend on December 11, 1999 at the age of 65. The memory of Rene will be cherished by his wife Eugenie; children, Marc, Micheline (Bob) Watson, Gilles (Lynne), Liliane (Pierre) St. Godard, Nicole (Peter) Andrychuk; and grandchildren, Julie, Patrick, Terri, Laura,Scott, Chelsea and Joelle; brothers, Georges and Ovide, sisters, Jeanne (Leon) Page, Sister Agnes, Sister Irene, Alma (Roger) Fortier, Clara (Lionel) Carriere, Lucille, Lucienne (Lionel) Goulet and Lorraine (Florent) Joubert. Rene was predeceased by his parents, Raoul and Alice; sisters, Eva and Therese, brothers, Roger, Marcel and Emile; sister-in-law Irene Lambert. Rene retired from the National Bank of Canada after 37 years of service in 1988 after which he donated his time and energy to numerous organizations. Dad had a very active lifestyle and had numerous passions including cooking, gardening and bowling. He always had a project on the go. His joie-de-vivre and unique sense of humour will be missed. The family expresses special thanks to the St. Pierre R.C.M.P. Detachment, firefighters and to all those who helped with their prayers and support. Prayer services for Rene will be held in the Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald St. on Tuesday, December 14 at 7:30 p.m. with Fr. Ron Leger. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Fr. Joseph Choiselat in the Saint-Malo Roman Catholic Chruch the following morning, December 15, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place in the Saint-Malo Parish Cemetery following the mass. Those wishing to do so may make a donation in Renes memory to the Ecole dEvangelisation in Saint-Malo, MB. "Nous taimons Rene, tu sera toujours avec nous."
