ETHEL FORREST (nee WILLIAMS) Suddenly at Grace Hospital on December 11, 1999, Ethel Forrest passed away with her family at her side at the age of 83. Ethel was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband Ted in 1980; by her sisters, Ann, Doris and Beatrice and her brother Joe. She will be forever remembered by daughters, Doreen Trudel (Marcel) of Kapuskasing, Ontario and Linda Luptak (Richard) grandchildren, Carrie (Jean-Yves) Deslauriers, David Trottier, Kim and Michel Trudel, Kevin, Jared, Bethany, Joshua and Elishah Luptak and five great-grandchildren, Jessie-Ann, Cory, Justin, Patrick and Dominic. Also surviving are her sisters, Gwen Powell and Ruby Spence and many nieces and nephews. Ethel was an active member of Sturgeon Creek United Church, the St. James Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile and a member of the Shrine Auxiliary. Over the years Ethel was active in bowling leagues and the U.C.W. of her church. Ethels exuberance for life kept her on the go constantly and shone through in everything that she did. Ethel will be sadly missed by her family and friends whose lives she touched unconditionally and we loved her so much in return. She was a GRAND lady and matriarch, full of fun and adventure, always kind and loyal. Her family meant the world to her. Until we meet again... P.S. We hope you didnt forget your deck of cards. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 14 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 15 at Sturgeon Creek United Church, 207 Thompson Drive. Interment and reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
