MEREDITH "JOHN" ROBERTS At Riverview Hospital on December 12, 1999 John Roberts passed away at age 78. John was predeceased by his wife Kathleen Roberts in 1991; his parents; his brother Ken Roberts and sister-in-law Vera Roberts. He will be sadly missed by his daughter Dale Roberts and his many friends and colleagues at Riverview Health Centre where he worked in security for the past 15 years looking after his "family". John served in the First World War with the Winnipeg Grenadiers. Following the war, John worked for Great West Life Assurance Company. He retired from Riverview Health Centre in September 1999. John was a member of the St. Vital Branch Legion #16. Dale would like to thank all the nurses and staff of 3E at Riverview Health Centre, especially Curly and Sheila for all the care given to John. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 17 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Service will conclude at the Chapel.
