Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY ELIZABETH WILSHIRE Peacefully on the afternoon of Tuesday, December 14, 1999, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Mary succumbed to a lengthy fight with cancer. Mary Elizabeth Wilshire (nee Heinrich) was born in Consort, Alberta in 1928. She moved around Canada before settling down in Winnipeg with her loving husband Victor Wilshire. She enjoyed curling, golf and was an active participant with Sturgeon Creek United Church and many charitable organizations. Mary relished time spent with friends and enjoyed regular trips to her cabin in the Whiteshell. She was predeceased by her husband Vic; father Peter; mother Elizabeth and by her brother Andy. Mary will be forever cherished and sadly missed by her son Mitch (Peggy) son Terry (Karen) daughter Diane (John) grandchildren, Teri, Margy, Jamie, Jon and Victor; great-grandchild Patrick; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. A service of remembrance will be held on Friday, December 17 at 2:00 p.m. in the Sturgeon Creek United Church, 207 Thompson Drive. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made in Marys memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, Manitoba Division, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7.
