RICHARD CECIL RILKOFF We sadly announce that Richard passed away at the age of 48 after having been predeceased by his parents, Elizabeth Ann (Betty) and Cecil George Rilkoff. His memory will be cherished by his sister and brother-in-law Peggy and Peter Whiteway and the family. We wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. J. Vortel and the exceptional nursing staff on the Palliative Care Unit at Richmond Hospital, along with all those directly involved with the kind and compassionate care Richard received. Richards love of music, great food, his creative abilities along with his interests and commitments to health issues were the attributes that Richard will be remembered for. The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 17 at 1:00 p.m. at University Hill Congregation, 6050 Chancellor Blvd. (at the Vancouver School of Theology, UBC, 604-224-7011), with interment to follow in Winnipeg on Monday, December 20 at Green Acres Memorial Gardens. If desired, donations in Richards memory may be directed to the Gilwest Clinic, Richmond Hospital, 7000 Westminster Hwy., Richmond, B.C.
