Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILFRED M. (WILF) HOLLOWAY Peacefully at Rosewood Lodge, Stonewall , MB, Wilfred M. (Wilf) Holloway passed away at the age of 83, on Sunday, December 12, 1999. Wilf is survived by his loving wife Eleanor; son Gordon (Penney), daughter Janet (Tom) Burwell, son Doug (Brenda) grandchildren, Shannon and Susan, David, Leigh and Elizabeth, Scott and Jason, and eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Alwyn of Winnipeg. Wilf was born January 21, 1916 in Balmoral at the family home of his parents, George and Annie Holloway. He was the youngest of six children. For 38 years, Wilf owned and operated Holloways Radio Electric in Stonewall. Wilf was a charter member of the Stonewall Kinsmen Club, a former member of the Stonewall Curling Club, and a longtime member of Stonewall Lodge No. 49 and Acadia Rebekah Lodge No. 4 I.O.O.F. His favourite times were spent travelling, camping, fishing and hunting with his family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 16 at 2:00 p.m. in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel Stonewall. Rev. Mary Best will officiate. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to Rosewood Lodge, Stonewall. MacKenzie Funeral Home Stonewall in care of arrangements.
