STEVENSON On Tuesday, December 14, 1999 at Central Park Lodge, 70 Poseidon Bay, Edythe Stevenson passed away at the age of 86 years with her sister Bea at her side. She is survived by one sister Bea; brother-in-law Mel Temple; three nieces, Jacquie Stew, Maureen Buchanan and Debra McLean; three nephews, Gary Temple, Don Temple and Bill Lyle and their families. She was predeceased by her parents, twin sister Anne Stevenson and sisters, Helen Lyle and Jean Temple; brothers-in-law, Al Lyle and Norm McLean. Edythe attended Normal School in Brandon and taught in rural Manitoba. She was employed with the Federal Government Treasury Branch in Ottawa and Winnipeg for 37 years. Edythe was an avid reader and she and her sister Anne did much travelling. The last seven years with sister Helen, they spent time in Hawaii and Flin Flon. She will be greatly missed. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 18 at 1:00 p.m. in Harrow United Church, Mulvey at Harrow with Rev. Bill Millar officiating. Interment will be in Waskada, Man. at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at Central Park Lodge for all their kindness and care.
