Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEMILIA (MINNIE) DRYSDALE October 10, 1911 - December 11, 1999 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Dear Mother and Grandmother, Emilia Drysdale on Saturday, December 11, 1999. Emilia left us to join her husband Hugh and daughter Gayle who predeceased her. She will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters, Elizabeth Heckert, Sandra Knysh (Orest) grandchildren, Sheila Drysdale, Hugh Knysh, Cherie Knysh, Rosalie Heckert and her sister Margaret Wolfe (Frank) and many nieces and nephews. Emilia was born in Winnipeg, she met and married Hugh Drysdale and lived at Indian Bay, Manitoba, She returned to Winnipeg to look after their family and work. After her husbands passing, she was asked to work for the City of Winnipeg Water Works in their Staffhouse at Indian Bay until she retired in 1984. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 20, at 2:00 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. #1 East at Navin Road, with public viewing to begin at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Emilias memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
