DAVID REID David Reid, 91 of Winnipeg, Manitoba died peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital on December 14, 1999. David was born in Scotland on August 11, 1908 the eldest son of Matthew and Mary Reid. David was predeceased by his wife Janet, and daughter Mae Anderson, George and Nellie Reid, and Jean Reid. He leaves to mourn his daughter Betty Brophy of Winnipeg, and son -in-law Jack Anderson. His two sisters Mable Reid of Winnipeg, (Betty), Doris Edmonston of Springfield, Oregon and his two nieces Mary Edmonston, and Heather Edmonston, also of Springfield, Oregon. David loved his flowers and was an avid gardener who specialized in gladiolas and dahlias. He worked many years at Canada Packers until he retired. Respecting Davids wishes, he was cremated, and there will be no formal services. The family would like to give special thanks to friends and caregivers from St. Boniface Hospital for their care and support to David and his family. "Thank all who have been so good to me." P.
