ELIZABETH BEARDY With deep sadness the Beardy family announces the passing of their mother, Elizabeth Beardy at the age of 71 years. She entered into eternal rest to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, December 14, 1999 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Left to cherish her memory, her husband John James Beardy; daughters, Beverley (Jerry), Eileen (Tim), Dorothy (Marvin), Pamela (John) of Winnipeg, and Geraldine of Crystal City, Manitoba; sons, Jim (Roselyn), Alvin (Marion) and Noel, all of Lake St. Martin, Jacob (Paulette), and Kennard (Roseanne) of Winnipeg. Elizabeth will also be dearly remembered by her sisters Bertha Sumner, Evangeline Traverse of Lake St. Martin and Edith Gagen of Gypsumville, Manitoba; brothers, Jacob (Christine) Traverse, Mark Traverse, Harry (Jessie) Traverse; sisters-in-law Martha Richard, Mary Ann Sumner, Lena Beardy, Flora Traverse and Jane Traverse; brothers-in-law, Willie (Ruth) all of Lake St. Martin and Gilbert (Dorothy) Beardy of Winnipeg, Man.; her grandson Wayne (Miranda) Beardy, eight other grandsons, 14 granddaughters and eight great-grandchildren. Wake service will be held at Deliverance Centre Church, 1831 Selkirk Avenue on Thursday, December 16, at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 17, at 11:00 a.m. also at Deliverance Centre Church. Interment to follow at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Trans Canada Hwy. #1, East at Navin Road. Pallbearers will be Andrew Anderson, Allan Anderson, Tom Anderson, Hughie Sumner, Tom Beardy and John Traverse. Honorary Pallbearers are grandsons, Gerry, Wayne, Rueben and Keith.
