Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE SUMMERLY It is with extreme sadness we announce the passing of George on Tuesday, December 14, 1999. He went to join his wife Hilda, who passed away June 12, 1994. George leaves behind his two daughters, Karen (Bill) and Janis (Wayne) his four grandchildren, Rob (Mel), Tracy (Leo), Tara (Piero), Kristine (Marc) and his very special two great grandchildren, Matthew (seven) and Karissa (one). He is also survived by his brother Bill (Evelyn). George has lived at the Columbus Villa Seniors Apartments for the past four years and had made many wonderful friends. The family would like to thank everyone there for caring for our Dad and making him feel part of the group even though he couldnt talk. He always enjoyed the cards and shuffleboard games and the meals the special ladies would bring to him. George always enjoyed family get-togethers with everyone there. He was a very important part of all our lives. Now he has joined Mom and they will be happy together again. Memorial service will be on Saturday, December 18 at 2:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Highway. Private family interment of ashes. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, R3C 9Z9 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301 - 352 Donald Street, R3A 9Z9.
