He is lovingly remembered by his family; wife Joan, daughter Tannis McGregor, stepdaughters, Carolyn Schultz (Vladimir), Charlene Fuczek, Christina Johnson (Robert) 6 grandchildren, Andrea, Allyson, Joshua, Amanda, Justin, Julia; brother Bill (Donna) brother Jim (Joyce) sister-in-law Else; sister-in-law June Trepanier (Russel) numerous nephews and nieces. Tom was predeceased by his father William, mother Ida, and brothers Alex and Bob. Born December 10, 1936 in Winnipeg. Tom owned and operated Nor-Quin Construction. With the help of Walter Towells and the boys, they built many roads and bridges in Manitoba. Tom loved all sports. He enjoyed watching NFL Football on TV. Tom especially loved hockey. Tom played hockey from early childhood to old-timers. When he wasnt playing, he was coaching at Tuxedo Community Club. Since his semi-retirement, Tom enjoyed working around his house and yard on the golf course, spending time with his grandchildren and helping all his daughters. In the wintertime, Tom loved traveling with Joan either to Vegas, Arizona or Florida with Joan and Owen. Tom served on the board of Friends Housing helping people with schizophrenia. In accordance with his wishes, a small family service will be held. The family would like to thank Dr.Albak and Roseanne at the Assiniboine Clinic, Dr.Ramsey at the Health Science Cancer Clinic, also VONs Mariette and Shirley. Tom, may you rest in peace, we love you.
