BERNICE D. PAYMENT (nee CLARKE) Peacefully on December 15, 1999 after a courageous battle with cancer, Bernice passed away at her home. She leaves to mourn; her loving husband Ed of 48 years; daughter Marlo (George) Wiebe; sons, Curtis and Darren; grandchildren, Jesse, Dayna, Tyler and Meghan; one sister Margaret (Ernie) Single; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Bernices love of life is only surpassed by her love for her family. She was employed with the t. Eaton Company for 25 years until her retirement, at which time she sold Real Estate for a few years. Her summers were spent with friends and family at Lilac and Niddrie, Ontario. Winters were spent with her husband and friends at Venture-Out, Mesa, Arizona. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 20 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Emile Church, 556 Saint Annes Road with the Rev. Fr. Rene Peeters presiding. Interment will follow at Green Acres Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made in Bernices memory to the Canadian Cancer Foundation, Manitoba Division, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 2B7. The family would like to give special thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and staff at the St. Boniface Hospital for the compassionate care give to our Mom.
