CARMINE BIONDI On Monday, December 13, 1999 in Cantalupo Nel Sannio Molise, Italy, Carmine Biondi, aged 76, beloved father, brother, grandfather and uncle, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his daughter Rosalba Forte (Alfonso), son Claudio (Lucia), and his three beloved grandchildren, all of Italy. His sister Angelina Guffei (Nicola), his brother Guido (Janice) of Winnipeg, sister-in-law Evelina Biondi of New York, and several nieces and nephews. Carmine came to Winnipeg in June of 1957 and became employed at Subterranean. In 1980 he took an early retirement, and returned back to his home town in Italy with his family. Funeral was held in Italy Tuesday, December 14, 1999. He was predeceased by his wife Carmela; parents, Nicola and Giovannina; and his brother Guiseppe. Carmine will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by all who knew him.
