CLARENCE HAROLD DYCK 1923 - 1999 On Thursday, December 16, 1999 at the Bethel Hospital, Winkler, Clarence H. Dyck, age 76 years of Winkler, went to his eternal rest. Clarence was very involved with the Winkler Flyers and worked for many years at the Winkler John Deere shop. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Mary (nee Toews) in 1996; also by seven brothers and sisters. He leaves to mourn his passing, his four daughters, Dorothy and Barry Stoodley of Winnipeg, Cathy and Stuart Braun of Altona, Marilyn and Jack Elias of Winkler, Janet and Leonard Sawatzky of Winkler; two sons, George and Maryanne Dyck of Winnipeg, Jerry and Mary Dyck of Altona; 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; one sister Helen (Henry) Toews of Winnipeg; two brothers, Diedrich and Tina Dyck of Winkler, Elvin and Sarah Dyck of Morden and many nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held at Wiebe Funeral Home Winkler (121 8th St.) on Monday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a devotional at 8:00 p.m. and viewing at the church prior to the service. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 22, at 2:00 p.m. at the Winkler E.M.M.C. (600 Southview Dr.) with Pastor Dale Dueck and Rev. Peter Thiessen officiating. Interment will follow at the Winkler Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 2B7, or to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 0S6.
