ERNEST GEORGE LUNDY September 4, 1910 - December 17, 1999 On Friday, December 17, 1999 at the Oakview Place Nursing Home, Ernest, age 89 years, beloved husband of Estelle of Winnipeg, Man. Ernest was born and raised in the Dauphin, Man. area. He farmed in the area until relocating to Winnipeg in 1955. Over the years, he worked for various companies and retired from Canada Post in 1975. Ernest was a long time member of the Deer Lodge United Church. He enjoyed bowling, lawn bowling and gardening. Besides his loving wife Estelle, remaining to forever cherish Ernests memory are his step-daughter Joyce (Jack) Maughan of Winnipeg; step-son Duncan (Bonnie) Patterson of Lowell, Oregon; grandsons, Bill and Tim Maughan; granddaughter Sheri (Robert) Martin all of Winnipeg; niece Linda and Hank Redlich; nephew Howard and Barbara Grey all of Kelowna, B.C. He was predeceased by his parents and two sisters, Jan Gray Sigmund and Lil Walker Allen. In compliance with Ernests wishes, cremation has taken place. A Service of Remembrance celebrating his life will be announced and held at a later date. A private interment will be held in Dauphin Cemetery. Our family would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to the wonderful staff on 2-West at the Oakview Place Nursing Home.
