JOHN EZAKO Peacefully on December 16, 1999 after a lengthy illness, John Ezako passed away at the age of 70. John was born July 2, 1929 in Pine Ridge, Man., later moving to Winnipeg, residing in the North End and North Kildonan. John will be remembered as the one who could make you laugh. He enjoyed being with his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren, great-grandson and best friend "Snooks". John is survived by his wife Bertha of 42 years; sons, Robert (Lori), Danny and daughter Nancy; grandchildren, Jason, Brett and Hailey; great-grandson Tristan; sister Rose; brother Alex; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Harry and mother Mary; brothers, Bill, Fred, and Nick; sisters, Diane and Nancy. Memorial service will take place 1:30 p.m, Monday, December 20 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main Street with Rev. J. Holowaty officiating. Service will terminate at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Johns memory to Canadian Diabetes or Canadian Blood Services. We wish to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Concordia Hospital.
