ROSE ANNE KALYNIAK After a lengthy illness at the Russell Hospital, our dear Mom and Grandma passed away December 16, 1999, at the age of 89 years and nine months. She was predeceased by her husband Ted in June 1991; her parents; an infant son; brothers, Walter, Louis, Danny and sister Lucy. Rose was born in the R.M. of Silver Creek to Mary (Litvyn) and Walter Keller. She attended school at Lema and then worked for Dr. Brownlee before marrying Ted in September 1934. They farmed in Boulton and Lennard, moving to Inglis in 1945 where they raised their family. Rose moved to Russell Bonner Court in 1992 and Personal Care Home in 1997 when her health began to fail. She was a wonderful lady whose life revolved around her husband and family. She was especially proud of each of her grandchildren. She made many lovely quilts and enjoyed sewing and crocheting and always had a great garden and beautiful flowers. Surviving are daughter Lillian (Leo) son Leon (Marion) grandchildren, Leeanne (Matthew), Elliot, Rick and Andrew; brothers, Stanley, Johnny, Eddy (Lillian) sisters, Josie and Jean and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Prayers will be held Sunday, December 19 at 8:00 p.m. and funeral service is Monday, December 20 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Marys Ukrainian Church. Interment to follow at Russell Cemetery. Father Ed Kwiatkowski officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Andrew, Rick Kalyniak, Elliot Madden, Matthew Nowak; nephews, Henry Keller and Roy Kalyniak. Cross bearer will be Danny Jarowski. The family would like to thank the staff at Russell Personal Care Home for their kindness and comfort and to the doctors and nurses at the Russell Hospital. A special thanks to Shirley and Corrine. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society or a charity of choice. Grandma Rest in Peace Braendle-Bruce are in care of the arrangements.
