Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHAZEL IRENE THIESSEN (nee Lewis) 1904 - 1999 After a lengthy illness, Hazel passed away on December 16, 1999. She will be sadly missed by her devoted husband of nine years, Jacob Thiessen; by sons, Ray (Anne) Prevost, Roy (Mary) Prevost, Eddy (Bea) Prevost; daughter Cordy (Anton) Thomaschewski; son-in-law Robert Martin; step-children, Margaret Kramer, Peter (Mary-Jane) Thiessen, Paul (Mary) Thiessen, Dianne Thiessen; 24 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren. Hazel was predeceased by her first husband Joseph Prevost, daughter Iona Martin and great-grandson Trevor Prevost. Very special thanks to the doctors, nurses and support staff at Seven Oaks General Hospital for their kindness and special care they gave my wife and mom (mother). Funeral service will be held Monday, December 20, at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue with visitation hour prior to the service. "God Grant Her Eternal Rest". Leaves and flowers may wither, The golden sun may set But the hearts that loved you dearly Are the ones that wont forget. I am sad at losing a dear lady who was kind and giving, full of life and fun, who gave me understanding and support and unconditional love for so many years.
