KATHALEEN RUSSELL (nee PARDOE) In her 89th year. Died peacefully December 17, 1999 at Victoria General Hospital, Winnipeg Manitoba. Formerly she lived with her late husband Dan Russell in Woodstock, Hamilton and Sandy Cove Acres near Barrie, Ontario. While in Woodstock, Kay was very active with the Business and Professional Womens Club, the Board of the Victorian Order of Nurses and worked as Secretary for the Kiwanis Oxford County Music Festival. Kay is survived by her son, Glenn and his wife Mae of Landmark, Manitoba; her daughter Kate and her husband Murray Shantz of Colgate, Wisconsin; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Burial near Barrie, Ontario. The family would like to send their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Matsubara, Dr. Salem, Boise Agbayewa and the wonderful nurses on the fourth floor of the Victoria General Hospital for their care and compassion.
