Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY ZALUSKI (nee NAKONECHNY) Peacefully on December 19, 1999, at the Hunter Memorial Hospital Teulon, Mom, passed away with her family by her side at the age of 76. Born on September 28, 1923, at home in Komarno, Man., she lived in Komarno all her life. On November 20, 1938, she married William Zaluski and they farmed in the Kamarno District. She loved gardening, playing bingo, visits from her grandchildren, making her best tasting borscht and chicken soup ever. She also enjoyed visits from her family, loved watching the birds and her companion at home, her dog "Tiny". Mary leaves to mourn, her son, Gordon (Sandra) grandchildren, Denise (Cory) and Janice; daughter Rose, grandchildren Wayne (Linda), Sharon (Jeff), Adeline (Melvin), Tanya and Derek; step-grandchildren, Perry and Shelley (Tyrone), Sonia (Paul), Danny (Dorothy) her sisters-in-law, Jean Glucki and Olga Zaluski. Mary was predeceased by her husband William; son Michael; her parents Peter and Cassie Nakonechny and son-in-law Mike Kozak. Prayers will be said at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 21, in the Mackenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 22, at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, Komarno. Rev. Deacon Peter Chorney will officiate with interment to follow in the Komarno Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Melvin Mishtak, Wayne Kozak, John Kapusta, Jeff Hryciw, Ray Gluchi and Ron Zaluski. The family would like to thank the Doctors and Staff for the wonderful care they gave Mom during her stay in the hospital and to all the people who came to visit and brought flowers for her.
