Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDIANA DOROTHY EVANS (nee Peacock) Peacefully after a long illness on Sunday, December 19, 1999 in Victoria General Hospital, Halifax. Born in Winnipeg, July 10, 1915, only child to Mark Stanly and Maude (Jarrett) Peacock. Beloved wife of James Eric Lloyd (Rusty) Evans and loving mother of Susan Louise and her husband Denis Shaw and of Deborah Anne and her husband Jaroslav Dostal; adored grandmother of Alexandra Jane and Peter James Dostal. She will be missed by her sister-in-law Gwladys Yeaman and by her nieces, Peggy Borgerson and Gwendda Blasutig and by Peter Shaw and her many friends in Winnipeg, Port Credit and Halifax. No visitation. The funeral service will be held in All Saints Anglican Cathedral, Halifax on Tuesday, December 21 at 2:00 p.m. followed by cremation. A reception will follow at the cathedral. Burial private. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Dianas memory either to Spencer House, 5596 Morris St., Halifax B3J 1C2 or to the Kidney Foundation. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Atlantic Funeral Homes, Halifax. Because I could not stop for Death - He kindly stopped for me - The Carriage held but just Ourselves - And Immortality.
