MARGARET DOROTHY LINDSAY Peacefully, on December 20, 1999 at Concordia Hospital, Margaret Lindsay, aged 86 years, wife of the late Joseph Lindsay and daughter of the late Norah (Vigor) and Harry Ridgedale. Survived by her children, Jack (Kathy) of Winnipeg, Diane Dixon of Summerside, PEI, Joyce (Ron) Worobey of Winnipeg, and Joe (Joan) of Winnipeg. Margaret had ten grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; brother Jack of Winnipeg; sisters, Norah Robertson of Brownsville, Texas, Kay Marsh of Florida, May Burwash of Burnaby, B.C.; also many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Charles; sisters, Hazel Miln, Eileen Robertson; son-in-law Bob Dixon. Margaret lived all her life in Winnipeg. Her special talents included cooking, growing of flowers, and her knowledge of sports. The family would like to extend thanks to the staff of Park Manor Personal Care Home for the care given to Mom over the past several years. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made by donation to the Canadian Cancer Society. Cremation will be followed by a memorial service on Wednesday, December 22 at 2:00 p.m. at Park Manor Personal Care Home, 301 Redonda St., Transcona.
