STEPHEN BIHUN Peacefully, at the St. Boniface Hopsital, on Sunday, December 19, 1999, Stephen passed away. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of over 50 years, Anna. Predeceased by his father John and mother Anastasia; brothers, Fred, Harry, Nick and Peter and wife Amelia and his sister Ann Maksymetz and husband John. Stephen is survived by his brothers, Bill (Isabelle), Alex (Eleanor) sisters, Natalie Spiers and Alice Stutt (Tony) as well as many nieces, nephews and sister-in-law Pauline Kaschl (Rudy) and sister-in-law Valarie Ermeko (Elliott), sister-in-law Helen Bihun. Steve was born in Ethelbert, Manitoba June 10, 1910. He farmed for a while and then came to the city and had a groceteria. He worked for Pioneer Electric for 13 years and retired at the age of 67. He enjoyed hunting, reading and gardening. A service of remembrance of his life will be held on Thursday, December 23 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street with interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main Street. Pallbearers will be Darryl Kaschl, Don Banks, David Bihun, Lawrence Maksymetz, Victor Trupish and Rudy Kaschl. Flowers gratefully declined.
