ALLAN VERNE HILL With family by his side, on December 18, 1999 at the Riverview Health Centre, Allan passed away at the age of 45. Left to mourn his passing and cherish his memory, are his mother Elinor; his children, Robert (Susan), Melanie and Stephen; his beloved granddaughters, Justine and Brittany. He is also survived by his brothers, Barry (Marilyn) and Doug; his Aunts, Dora and Matilda and Uncle Brian; his cousins; nieces and nephews. Allan was predeceased by his father Martin, in 1981. Until the time of his illness, Allan had been employed by Griffin Lumber. Allan enjoyed the outdoors and spending time in the country. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 23 at 1:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St., with the Rev. Canon J. Ronald McCullough officiating. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba, 100 Olivia St. or to a charity of choice. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
