JOAN MAUDE RODWAY GILLIES-PODGORECKI Joan Maude Rodway Gillies-Podgorecki, born February 1, 1925, passed away peacefully at the Rosedale Hospice, Calgary, AB. on December 19, 1999, at the age of 74 years. She was predeceased by her loving husband Josef and sister Moira. She will be lovingly remembered by sons, Martin (Marilyn), Alexander (Meryle), William (Deanna) seven grandchildren; brother Dr. Jim Gillies (Marjorie) of Whiterock, B.C.; sister Maude Reid of Victoria, B.C. and many nieces and nephews. "And I will love thee still my dear, till all the seas gang dry." The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the Foothills Hospital, Unit 111, the staff and volunteers of Rosedale Hospice and all who extended their kindness, prayers and support. A memorial service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 3704 - 37th St. S.W. on Tuesday, December 28 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in Joans memory may be made to Rosedale Hospice, 920 - 7A St. N.W., Calgary, AB.
