JOHN RICHARD DODD Suddenly on Monday, December 20, 1999 at the Hunter Memorial Hospital, Teulon, John Dodd, aged 80 years, beloved husband of Margaret Dodd, formerly of Balmoral. Born September 26, 1919 at Balmoral, John had lived and farmed in the Balmoral District all his life until moving to Teulon in October 1999. Surviving besides his wife Margaret, four sons and one daughter, Edwin (Linda) of Stony Mountain, Wayne (Gwen) of Kelowna, B.C., Robert (Jean) of Balmoral, Martin (Lil) of Gunton, Sharon (Nick) Panchuk of Stonewall; eleven grandchildren, Blair, Gary, Leanne, Gisele, Jason, Cheryl (Aaron), Debbie (Jodi), Michelle, Malisa, Trevor and Scott; three great-grandchildren, Kyle, Jessica and Brooke; two sisters-in-law Nell Dodd and Isabel Dodd, both of Winnipeg; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Henry and Alice Dodd, brothers Bob, Ernie, Charlie, and Roy, sisters Doris, Elsie and Mary. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 23 at 1:00 p.m. in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Service will conclude at the chapel. Honourary pallbearers will be his grandchildren. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, or the Hunter Memorial Hospital, Teulon.
