LAURANT "PITOU" CHARTIER Peacefully on December 19, 1999, Lawrence passed away at Lions Manor at the age of 78. Predeceased by his wife Mary in 1995, Lawrence leaves to mourn his passing, and cherish his memory, daughter Lillian (John), son Maurice "Moe" and grandson Marc (Ginny). He will be greatly missed by his sister Theresa, brothers, Adelard (Lorraine), Joseph (Lucille), Leo (Mariette) sisters-in-law, Jeanette and Adrienne; brother-in-low Joe (Laura) sister-in-law Madeleine (Laurence). Pallbearers will be Keith Marsch, Leonard Marsch, Bob Lafond, Edward Chartier, Dennis Richard, and Roger Richard. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 23 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. Viewing at 10:30, with services at 11:00, officiated by Sister Rose Desrochers S.N.J.M. Interment will follow in the Garry Memorial Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Treasured Memories - Lions Club of Winnipeg, 320 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg R3B 2W6.
