Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANGELO MAIDA Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, Angelo passed away on December 20, 1999 at the Deer Lodge Centre at the age of 79. He was predeceased by his brother Guido (Rosalyn) and is survived by his brothers, Frank (Eunice) and Alfredo (Maria) of Winnipeg; and sisters, Maria (Pasquale) and Angela of Winnipeg and Itala and Immacolata (Ettore) of Italy. Angelo also leaves many nieces and nephews to cherish his memories. Angelo was born on September 27, 1920 in Aprigliano, Cosenza, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1951. He spent most of his working years as a chef at Canadian Forces Base Winnipeg. Prayers will be held Monday, December 27 at 7:30 p.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. A Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 28 at 10:00 a.m. also from Holy Rosary Church, with Fr. Sam Argenziano presiding. Pallbearers will be Michael Maida, Sal Maida, Mike Nicholls, Joe Albo, Reno Molinari, and Joe Plastina. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the Diabetes Foundation of Manitoba, 102 - 310 Broadway Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6 in Angelos honour.
