JUNE MARY SKINNER (nee CORLEY) Born Winnipeg, Man. June 24, 1928, youngest daughter of the late Angus and Amy Corley, Winnipeg, died at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital, Windsor, Ont., on Tuesday, December 21, 1999. Beloved wife and best friend of Jim. Survived by sisters, Clarice Speed, Vancouver, Bernice Mantz, London, Ont., Frieda Melnick and husband John, Winnipeg; brothers, Fred Corley and wife Hazel, Burnaby, B.C., George Corley and wife Claire, Winnipeg. Predeceased by Jim and Bill Corley and Ida Plomp. Loving sister-in-law of Rosemary Minard. Ken and Helena Skinner. Larry and Inge Skinner and the late Betty Brookbanks and her late husband Duncan. June was retired from Paramed Health Service and worked in various careers including Air Canada, Windsor Star. June was District Curator of Womens Institute of Tweedmuir History Books, starting the microfilm program, Past President of Womens Institute Anderdon Maldan and member of the Detroit Opportunity Singers and the Horticultural Society. In kindness, memorial tributes to the Federated Womens Institute of Ontario F.W.I. Headquarters Fund; Project H.M.S. Detroit: Palliative Care Unit at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital; or charity of choice. Friends will be received at the Morris Sutton Funeral Home and Chapel, 68 Giles Blvd. E. at Goyeau on Friday, December 24, from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of Memorial Service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Richard Welsh and Rev. Stephen Hendry officiating. Cremation has taken place.
