October 16, 1924 - December 18, 1999 It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing away of our beloved sister, aunt and great aunt. Olive passed away after a lengthy illness at the Misericordia Health Centre. Olive was a very dedicated nurse who placed much care and effort into her profession. She worked in hospitals in Hamilton, Toronto, Carman, Whitemouth and Hunter Memorial Hospital, Teulon. As well, she took Neurological courses with Dr. Wilder Penfield in Montreal. All of Olives patients were lovingly attended. Born in Cudworth, Saskatchewan, our dear Olive was predeceased by both her parents, George O. Kotelko and Paraska Kotelko (Cudworth/Winnipeg) her eldest sister Mary P. Andrye and Michael Andrye (Toledo), Anne G. Yuzyk (Winnipeg), John D. Kotelko and Sophie (Cudworth, Sask.), Bette Papish and Michael Papish and son Dennis (Hamilton) and Natalie Kotelko (Winnipeg). Olive leaves to mourn her brother Peter Kotelko (Sophie) Cudworth, Sask., Margaret Broda (late Joseph), Winnipeg, Irene Sopatyk (Fred), Calgary, and Oksana Kotelko (Hans Gerdes), Edmonton. As well, Olive will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Olive placed a great value on education, establishing two scholarships at St. Andrews College, Winnipeg. Funeral service was officiated by Very Rev. H. Lakusta of the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity. We extend our thanks to the Pallbearers. Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who visited and assisted. In lieu of flowers, please direct donations toward a charity of your choice.
