Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDIONISIA TOLENTINO It is with great sadness that the family would like to announce the peaceful passing of Dionisia Tolentino on Friday, December 24, 1999 at the age of 79. Nanay is sadly missed and dearly remembered by her loving and devoted husband of 56 years, Angel Sr. and 11 sons and two daughters and their spouses, Domelito, Raul (Elsa), Narding (Mely), Esi (Mercy), Rene (Tessie), Cesar (Chit), Benny (Crising) all of Phil and Henry (Zeny), Lito (Helen), Mayet (Nap) Erly (Rey), Dong (Mila) Danny (Tess) and Zaida; 36 grandchildren and great-grandchildren Zachy and Christiana and many extended relatives and close family friends in the United States, Philippines and Winnipeg. She was predeceased by sisters, Saring and Belen and three brothers, Policarpio, Julian, Mariano and survived by sisters, Soledad, Lucia and Leonida all of Philippines. Dune as known to family and friends was born in the Phillipines on October 23, 1920 and came to Canada with her husband in 1991. She devoted all her life caring for her family and she kept everyone close together always in touch with all her children and grandchildren in the Philippines and United States. Nay and Tay celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1993, and a family reunion in the Philippines last year. All her children and grandchildren and relatives from Winnipeg and the United States attended the happy occasion. The family is so grateful to the staff of Seven Oaks Hospital especially the nurses on duty for the support and compassion they gave to the family at the time of her passing. Special thanks to her homecare caregivers, Suzette and company. Lamay will be held on Wednesday, December 29 from 7:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, Main and Manitoba. Service mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 30 at St. Joseph Church on Mountain and Andrews St. Officiating priest - Father Dado. Nanays final resting place will be in the Phillipines. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Knysh Funeral Chapel 582-0973.
