ELVENA FLORENCE DECARLE (nee MACKIE) Peacefully, on Friday, December 24, 1999 at the Victoria Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, Elvena Decarle at the age of 79 passed away. Elvena leaves to cherish her memory, her two daughters, Sandy Brown (husband Alan) and Patricia Stankewich (husband Ed) both of Winnipeg. Along with her children Elvena will be sadly missed by her four grandchildren, Alan (Betty), Jason, Michelle and Edward and her great-grandchildren Christian, Sara and Jesse. She will be dearly remembered by her loving brother Lloyd Mackie (Virginia) of Pointe Du Bois and her sister Dorothy Barton (Gordon) of Teulon; along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Elvena was predeceased by her loving husband Gordon DeCarle and her parents George and Mary Mackie. Greatly loved and respected by her family, Elvena will continue to touch their lives through the memories of her kindness, her love and her gentle loving heart. The family wishes to thank the kind services of the doctors and nurses at the Victoria Hospital. The memorial service will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street on Wednesday, December 29 at 2:00 p.m. Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, 586-8044.
