JUNE ANNE COUTURE (nee ZEBRINSKI) After a courageous battle with cancer, June Anne Couture (Juney) passed away peacefully on December 23, 1999 at Riverview Health Centre. June was surrounded by her loving family and will be sadly missed. Left to cherish her memory and miss her dearly are husband Ray Couture; daughter Michele and Melanie; mother Ann Zebrinski; brother Edward Zebrinski; sisters Rose Hildebrand and family, Betty Van der lek and family, Debbie Delfosse and family as well as many aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. She was predeceased by her father Stanley Zebrinski, sister Agnes Zebrinski and dear friend James Morgan. June was born June 2, 1947 in Winnipeg. She grew up with her siblings in Gimli, Manitoba, a place she has always held dear to her heart. June met and married Raymond Couture in 1967 at Holy Ghost Church. Together, they lovingly raised their daughters Michele and Melanie with kindness, understanding and undying support. June was known for her charitable heart and support to friends, family and the community. Later in life, June became a florist and then a business owner of Linden Ridge Florist. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the nurses at Cancer Care Manitoba, especially Shawn and Jane as well as Dr. Mihalciou. A special thanks to her always supportive family physician Dr. Brian Rumbolt. Mom would like a very special thanks given to Caroline Goertz her V.O.N. nurse. As well, the family would like to thank Dr. Marr, her primary care nurse Diane and all other staff members at Riverview Centre who cared for Mom and provided support to the family. Lastly, we would like to thank Reverend Pat Walton for her support and prayers. An open memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. December 29 at Crescent Fort Rouge United Church North East Wardlaw and Nassau. Reverend Pat Walton officiating. Flowers appreciated. Private inurnment will be held the following day. Honorary pallbearers are Bob Malinowski, Greg Hildebrand, Alan Beaton, Dave Irvine, Bill Van der lek, Marcel Delfosse, Brian Webber, Shawna Morgan and Dave Shrimpton.
