Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBIBIANE MOUSSEAU (nee LAMOTHE) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grand-mother and sister on December 26, 1999 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age 86. Mom was born in St. Francois Xavier where she was raised, married Joseph Mousseau and raised most of her family. In later years they moved to St. Boniface. Her final years were spent at Tiffany Towers, 133 Niakwa Rd. Mom was a quiet person who enjoyed family gatherings,and the company of family and friends. Her hobbies were knitting and crocheting and she made sure that she always had a new afghan done for special occasions (birth, birthdays, etc). She enjoyed a few trips to visit her brothers in B.C. and the North West Territories to visit her son and a few trips to the U.S. casinos. She was predeceased by her mother Marie Elise Lafreniere; father Louis Lamothe and stepmother Veleda Lamothe; husband Joseph Mousseau; son Archie; daughter Marie; son-in-law Emile Dufault; her brothers, Joseph, Laurent, David; and sister Rosaria Lamothe (s.n.j.m.) and brother-in-law Laurent Marchildon. She is survived by daughters, Alice (Allan), Aline, Juliette (Norman), Florence (Ed), Yolande (Nelson), Adrienne, Angela Lorteau (Robert), Dolores (Jule) son Hector (Vicky) special granddaughter Carole (Terry) sister Marie Louise Marchildon; brother Antonio (Anne) 19 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, December 29 at 7:00 p.m. in the P.Coutu Funeral Chapel, 156 Marion St. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 30 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Eugene Church, 1007 St. Marys Rd. with Rev. Fr Marcel Toupin presiding. Viewing will be one-half hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Glen Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Roy Ramsay, Luc Dufault, Kevin Field, Jason Janoske, Cory Lorteau, Jules Tellier. A special thank you to auntie Rosalie Lafreniere who cheered Mom up with her phone calls and support, to auntie Marie Louise and uncle Antonio and Anne for their visits and support and also to Dr. Kramer and Staff on the 5th floor of the St. Boniface Hospital and to everyone who helped during this emotional time.
