EMILE STERNA On Sunday, December 26, 1999 at the Boyne Lodge in Carman, Manitoba, Emile Sterna aged 96 years, beloved husband of the late Nellie Sterna formerly of Brunkild, Manitoba. Funeral service will be held from Doyles Funeral Chapel in Carman, Manitoba on Wednesday, December 29 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place in Garry Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Emile leaves to mourn one daughter Violet and her husband Karl Reinsch of Brunkild, Manitoba; two sons, Lyle and his wife Gertrude Sterna of Winnipeg, Don and his wife Bev Sterna of Calgary, Alberta; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister Charlotte Rodgers of Winnipeg. Emile was predeceased by two brothers, Adolf and William and four sisters, Martha, Elizabeth, Clara and Minnie. The family wishes to extend a sincere thanks to the 2nd floor nurses and staff at the Boyne Lodge for the care and kindness given to Mr. Sterna during his stay.
