Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGUDRUN ISFELD Gudrun Isfeld of Baldur, Man., passed away peacefully at the Baldur Manor Personal Care Home on Friday evening, December 24, 1999. Gudrun was born on September 23, 1918, the first child of Kjartan and Borga Isfeld. After finishing school, she worked out in different homes before going to work for the family of Hermit Christopherson in 1940 where she remained, becoming a part of this family. Gudrun was predeceased by her parents; her sister Jonina (Joan) Feakes; nephew Wayne Pridmore; brothers-in-law, Norman Pridmore and Elmer Feakes, and by her "acquired" family members, Bjorg, John, Herb, Joe, Pete and Siggi Christopherson, Jennie (and Baldur) Peterson, Velga (and Chris) Helgason, and Marguerite Johnson. She is survived by her sister Helga Pridmore of Ottawa, and her children, Joan (Gilles) Villenue and their son Ronny and family; and Ron (Claudette) Pridmore; by brother Kris Isfeld (Kay Gunn) of Morden, and by her "acquired" family, Pat (Alan) Dearsley of Baldur, Dorothy (Albert) Tytgat, Korenna Thorunson, Erla (Jim) Wankling of Winnipeg, and Christine (John) Stuart-Smith of Calgary and their children and grandchildren; as well as all those who have been touched by her life, her love and her kindness. Funeral services will be held in the Baldur Lutheran Church on December 30 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Donna Smalley officiating. Cremation has taken place. Interment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Baldur Immanuel Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or to the Baldur Manor Personal Care Home.
