Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN (JAN) WYSMULEK Peacefully, in his sleep on Sunday, December 26, 1999, at the Seven Oaks Hospital, John (Jan) Wysmulek, passed away at the age of 76 years. John leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife Sophie; daughter Cecilia (Wiesia) and husband Walter Dubiel; son Edward (Edzio) Wysmulek, son Richard (Rysio) and wife Victoria Wysmulek, son Henry (Henio) Wysmulek, daughter Janina (Jasia) Wysmulek and ONeal Harvey, daughter Irene (Irena) and husband Ron Kane; grandchildren, Christine (Rocco) Boniello, Teresa (Jason) Reske, Nicole and Vanessa Wysmulek; great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Brendan Boniello; sisters, Janina and Sabina, both in Poland; sister-in-law Sophie Lutrzykowski; nephews, John and Kaz Lutrzykowski and their families; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Stanislaw and Helena; brother-in-law Leon Lutrzykowski; parents-in-law, Jan and Jozefa Lutrzykowski. John was born in Poland on January 1, 1923. He immigrated to Winnipeg in 1961 with most of his immediate family. John worked for many and retired from the C.P.R. at the age of 65. Prayers will be said on Tuesday, December 28 at 8:00 p.m at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 29, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. with an Oblate Father officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. Honourary pallbearers will be John Lutrzykowski and ONeal Harvey. Active pallbearers will be Walter Dubiel, Ron Kane, Kaz Lutrzykowski, Rick Durawa, Rocco Boniello and Jason Reske. The family would like to extend special thanks to his home care worker, Tanya Trachenko for her extraordinary care and compassion, and the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital Emergency and on 4U3. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Johns memory to the Alzheimers Society of Manitoba, Unit 10, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, R3C 4G2.
