KATHERINE REBECCA SNELL Passed away quietly at Vista Park Lodge on Saturday, December 25, 1999 at the age of 102 years. Born May 16, 1897 in Toronto, Ont., daughter of Joseph and Margaret Noble. Predeceased by her loving husband George S. in 1982 and by her son Orrin C. in 1991. Survived by her son George T.; and by nephew Herbert D. Noble, St. Paul, Minn.; and by nieces, Emegene Amunson, Florance Hofweber and Della Knudson, all of La Crosse, Wisc. Also surviving are wonderful grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. The 67 married years with Dad and the devotion, interest and care Mother gave to our family constitutes the heritage and memories she leaves to us. Mother had been a longtime supporter of the Womens Association of Crescent Fort Rouge United Church, The Winnipeg Humane Society and The Winnipeg Foundation. A private interment service conducted by Rev. Ronald J. Long will be held.
