MAGNHILD REGINA (PEGGY) HENDRICKSON (nee ANDERSON, ARMSTRONG and MARTINSON) On Sunday, December 26, 1999 at the Beausejour Hospital, Beausejour, Man., after a lengthy illness with her husband at her side, Peggy Hendrickson, aged 93 years, beloved wife of Elis Hendrickson of Lac du Bonnet, Man. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Elis; children, George (Loretta) Armstrong of Calgary, Bob (Val) Armstrong of Prince George and Glen (Addy) Armstrong of Winnipeg; daughter-in-law Joan Armstrong, as well as eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother Ray Anderson; sisters, Esther Carlson, Daisy Webb, Ruth Webb, Ed (Dorothy) Anderson, Rudolph (Dot) Anderson, Edna Stefenson and Bert (Gladys) Anderson and numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Peggy was predeceased by her parents, Ivor and Jenny Anderson; daughter Dorothy and a son Edwin. She was born in Elfros, Sask. on November 17, 1906. Peggy lived in Winnipeg for many years but has spent the last 25 years with her husband Elis in Lac du Bonnet. Mom loved her violets and her flowers. She was always smiling in spite of the mountains she had to climb. The family would like to thank Dr. Schmidt and the staff of the Beausejour Hospital for the kindness and compassion shown to Mom during her last days. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 30 at 2:00 p.m. from Russell Funeral Homes, Beausejour, Man. with Pastor Mac Dumcum officiating. Interment in the Beausejour Cemetery.
