MARIE-ANGE LAVALLEE Peacefully, early Christmas morning, Marie-Ange Lavallee (nee Lapointe) passed into the presence of the Lord and Saviour. She was predeceased in 1996 by Rene, her husband of 59 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her family of five children, Roland (Mona), Estelle, Gerald, Gilles (Lucille), Claude (Suzanne). Also mourning her passing are eight-grandchildren, Debbie, Dale (Rachelle) and Shaun; Evan and Corey; Justin, Elise and Melanie; and four great-grandchildren, Rena and Ian; Mathieu and Marque. She also leaves to mourn her brothers and sisters, Hyacinthe (Hermance) Lapointe, Helene (Adrien) Ouimet, Adeline Reitmeier, Denise (Jean) Johnson, and Jeannine Johnson. She was predeceased by her parents, Severe and Rosaide, and her grandson, Norman; three brothers, Aime, Raymond and Henri, four sisters, Blandine, Solange, Rita and Mae. Marie-Ange was born on October 31, 1915, raised and resided in La Salle, MB for most of her life. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 29 at 1:00 p.m. in the St. Hyacinthe Roman Catholic Church in La Salle, MB with Rev. Fr. Dr. Patrick Morand presiding. Viewing prior to service at 12:30 p.m. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery. A special thank you to the staff of the 2nd floor (ABC) at Tache Centre for their excellent and compassionate care given to our Mother over the last year.
