PAULETTE EISBRENNER (nee MONTPETIT) It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Mom, Paulette, on her favourite day of the year, December 25, 1999 at the Grace Hospital in Winnipeg, MB. Paulette was predeceased by her father Paul (Montpetit) Left to cherish her memory are her mother Dorothy (Montpetit) her pride and joy, her three boys, Cordell, Byron and Sheldon (Barker) three sisters, Renee (Lawson), Denise (De Guelder) and Lucille (OSullivan) one brother Robert (Montpetit) brothers-in-law, Paul (OSullivan) and Roger (De Guelder) as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many friends, especially George and Marie. Paulette was born September 29, 1943 at the Misericordia Hospital in Winnipeg, MB and lived almost all her life in the city. Paulettes greatest joy in life was her family, particularly her three sons. At 19 she gave birth to her first, Cordell, followed two years later by Byron, then two more years later by Sheldon. She was the best Mom anybody could ever have hoped for. Paulette worked for almost 26 years as a valued employee at the Grace Hospital. Over that course of time she worked in several different areas at the hospital. Her favourite, and most recent was the I.C.U. where she worked for the past ten years. She made many friends and touched many lives of both fellow staff and patients. Paulette attended mass regularly at St. Basils Church. The Catholic faith was very important to her and was a major influence on her life. Paulette had recently retired two months ago and was looking forward to her semi-retirement where she would continue to work part-time at the Hallmark Store in the Courts of St. James and as a nanny to her nephews two twin children. She was also looking forward to future travel ventures with her three sons in Prague, Toronto and Vancouver. Over the years she made some strong friendships and enjoyed these friends through various social activities such as bowling, bingo, day trips to the U.S. or just having a cup of coffee at the local Salisbury House. She was loving, caring and devoted, to her family and friends. She gave so much of herself and asked so little in return. She touched everybody that knew her and no one who really knew her will ever forget how much she really affected our lives. Everyone loved Paulette and she will be missed by all. We Love You Mom!! Prayers will be said at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 28 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 29 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Basils Ukrainian Catholic Church, 202 Harcourt St. with Fr. Isadore officiating. Cremation to follow. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME 885-9715
