ANN OKOWINSKI (CIENKI)
Date of Passing: Dec 26, 1999
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANN OKOWINSKI (nee CIENKI) It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our Annie on Sunday, December 26, 1999. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all of her family. She will especially be missed by her sister Kay Forestell with whom she lived with for over 23 years. She also leaves to mourn a sister Olga Ostasz and brother Nick Cienki, as she goes on to meet up with her sister Mary, brother John and parents who have passed on before her. Although Ann was never blessed with her own children, she was like a mother and father to Jackie Baker, Katharine Tabbernor and Kim Forestell, whom she loved as her own. She will also be remembered by several nieces and nephews. Ann was born in Cooks Creek but she spent a large part of her life in Ontario and the remaining years in Manitoba. Annies greatest love was that of her family. She taught us the meaning of love by who she was and by her actions. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 30 at 7:00 p.m. in the P. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 156 Marion St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, 1080 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3G 3M3. Love lives on forever in our hearts... Love lives on forever in each memory and thought, of the special ones who meant so much and the happiness they brought. Love lives on forever it will never fade away For, in our hearts, our loved ones are with us, everyday. P. COUTU & CO. FUNERAL DIRECTORS 156 Marion Street 949-4964
