Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCATHERINE EVERSON Peacefully following a lengthy illness, it is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Catherine Everson on Monday December 27, 1999 at Central Park Lodge, aged 79 years. Kay will be lovingly remembered by her husband Art; son Bill (Cindy) daughter Jeanie and five grandchildren, Shaun, Chris (Leanne), Jamie, Angie, Chauna; her sister Nancy and several nieces and nephews. Kay was born in St. Andrews Scotland, raised and married in Fort William, before moving to Winnipeg in 1953. Her greatest love has always been her family, raising two children and always being there for her grandchildren. Kay enjoyed bowling, crafts, and over the years was very active in volunteer work at Sir John Franklin Community Centre. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 29 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 30, also in the chapel. Interment to follow in Waverley Memorial Gardens. The family is very grateful to the nurses and staff at Central Park Lodge for the caring attention they have given Kay over the four years she has been there. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in Kays memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 0S6.
