In Loving Memory of WILLIAM (BILL) VICTOR EALING It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our father and grandfather on December 25, 1999. He will be sadly missed by his loving family, daughters, Brenda (Jim) of Winnipeg, Linda and Kim (Larry) of B.C. and Traci (Tom) of Thompson and his son Jim (Laura) of Winnipeg. He leaves to cherish his memory seven grandchildren, Christopher and Collin Nault, Leslie Ealing, Fraser, Signe, Haley and Cassandra Ealing. He will also be missed by his sister Winnie (Creswick) Ryan. Bill was born on March 8, 1931 in St. Vital, Manitoba. He was the fifth child of the family of five children born to Lewis Archibald and Alice Elizabeth (Palmer), long time residents of St. Vital. He was predeceased by his parents and brother Henry (Harry) sisters, Evelyn and Agnes. Dad and Mom was married in St. Marks Anglican Church on October 28, 1950. They resided in St. Vital, Winnipeg until moving to Thompson, Manitoba in 1976. Bill spent 18 years driving for Winnipeg Transit, then changed careers to become a successful district manager of a northern building supply company in Thompson, Manitoba. They retired in Belair, Manitoba in 1993 where they lived until they returned to Winnipeg in May of 1999. Mom passed away on October 18, 1999. In their 49 years of marriage, Dad and Mom never spent Christmas apart. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 31 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Vital Cemetery. A reception will follow in St. Marks Anglican Church.
