MAURILLE JULES LABOSSIERE Suddenly, on December 27, 1999, Maurille Jules LaBossiere peacefully went to meet his Maker. Maurille was born to Celestin and Carmel (Rocan) LaBossiere. He was employed by Boulet Brothers Concrete for many years as a labourer. He was a very hard working individual, and was very well known for his physical strength. Due to obstacles, such as epilepsy and retinitis-pigmentosa, Maurille was forced to retire early in life. He endured his illnesses with great dignity and astounding faith. He was a most considerate and caring person who would go out of his way to ensure that everyone would feel most welcomed. He was always most willing to lend a helping hand in any way he could. He loved to play cards and most enjoyed flowers, gardening, meeting people and playing jokes. He was a most special brother, uncle and friend and anyone who had the privilege of knowing him, had the opportunity to encounter kindness personified. Maurille led a quiet life, but his presence will be greatly missed. Although Maurille never had any children of his own, he considered and treated all his nieces and nephews as though they were. Maurille was predeceased by his parents, Celestin (1975) and Carmel (1992), as well as by his brother Bertrand (1991) and his nephew William Knibbs (1983). He leaves to mourn his sister Colette (Meinrad) Pele of Girouxville, Alberta; brother Donald (Judy) LaBossiere of Treherne, Manitoba; his sisters, Suzanne (Roland) Labossiere, Marielle Labossiere, Marilyne (Howard) Knibbs, all of Somerset, Man., as well as sister-in-law Jeannette (Alex) Dadey of Winnipeg. He also leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Notre Dame de la Nativite Roman Catholic Church in Somerset, Manitoba on December 30 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Marcel Damphousse officiating. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stoke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8.
