NELLIE ANASTASIA BLASKY (nee KOSTYNUIK) Born December 14, 1928 in Winnipeg, MB. Passed away December 27, 1999. She is survived by her devoted and beloved husband George. Also survived by sisters, Mrs. Mary Hegge of Penticton, BC, special beloved sister Mrs. Anna Rusnak of Winnipeg; sister-in-law Mrs. Mary Kosty of Winnipeg; also survived by special niece Patricia and husband James McKay. Many other nieces and nephews too numerous to name. Nellie was predeceased by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kost Kostynuik of Winnipeg; also by her brothers, Michael, William and Nickolas. Nellie was employed by the Department of Supply and Services, Federal Government of Canada. She retired after a very successful career spanning thirty-five years. Prayers will be said on Thursday evening, December 30 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Luxton Avenue. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 31 at 10:00 a.m. also at Cropo Funeral Chapel with a Basilian Father officiating. Interment will follow the service at Brookside Cemetery. The family wish to thank the staff at the St. Boniface General Hospital for all their care and kindness shown to Nellie. In lieu of flowers, donations in Nellies name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St. Winnipeg R3C 9Z9. Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements 586-8044.
