ESTHER ALLEN Mrs. Esther Allen passed away peacefully in the St. Norbert Nursing Home on Sunday, December 26, 1999. She was predeceased by her husband, William Henry Allen; her sisters, Ethel Bennett and May Geary; and by her brother Harry Hill. Esther is survived by her children, Gladys (Ron) McDonald of Anola, MB, Hank (Racheal) Allen of St. Charles, ON and Mabel Allen of Sudbury, ON; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters and brothers, Alice (Jim) Cornell of Burnt Hill, NY, Albert Hill of Quebec City, PQ, Dorothy Heather and Margaret Robinson, both of Montreal, PQ and David Hill of Burlington, ON and by numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Staff of the St. Norbert Nursing Home for the care they have given to our mother the last four years. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 30 at 2:00 p.m. from Green Acres Funeral Chapel, (Hwy. 1 East at Navin Road) with Rev. Jane Wetelainen officiating.
