RANK KILIMNIK Peacefully, on Saturday, December 25, 1999 at the Deer Lodge Centre, beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away at the age of 94. He was born in the R.M. of Harrison, MB on January 10, 1905 to Anthony and Frances (nee Moroz) Kilimnik. He married Ann Desiatnyk in Sandy Lake, MB on June 4, 1933. They moved to Winnipeg in the fall of 1935, where he eventually became employed at the City of Winnipeg Water Works Dept. Frank and Ann were life long members of Sts. Vladimir and Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church. Ann predeceased him on September 25, 1991, as have all of his siblings. Left to cherish his memory are his two daughters, Eleanor and Art Cieszynski of Selkirk, MB and Alice and Walter Dubowec; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Arthur and Marie Cieszynski, Erin and Kyle; Alan Cieszynski and James; Douglas and Barb Cieszynski, Michael and Courtney; Brian and Liz Cieszynski, Kristyn and Kelly; Walter and Althea Dubowec, Andrew, Danielle and Thomas of Oakville, ON; Teresa and Dr. Jim Young; Nadine and Bruce, Richelle, Jennifer and Jacqueline; Michael and Donna Dubowec, and Ainsley. The family extends its sincerest appreciation to the staff at Central Park Lodge on Poseidon Bay and to the nurses at Deer Lodge Centre, who provided such compassionate and attentive care. A private funeral service was held at the Glen Eden Funeral Home chapel, officiated by Rev. Father Mikhail Kouts, with interment at the Holy Family Cemetery.
